In February 2025, KoraClub.net, a popular online platform dedicated to football fans and player statistics, suffered a major data breach that compromised the personal information of approximately 70,000 users. This incident has raised serious concerns about data security in sports-related online communities.
What is KoraClub.net?
KoraClub.net is a widely used website among Arabic-speaking football fans. It offers in-depth player profiles, match stats, and news related to football clubs and tournaments across the Middle East and internationally. Over the years, it has become a go-to hub for sports enthusiasts looking to follow their favorite players and clubs.
What Happened in the Breach?
In early February 2025, hackers successfully breached the site’s database, exfiltrating sensitive user information. The leaked data reportedly includes:
- Full names of users and players
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Possibly other personally identifiable information (PII)
Shortly after the breach, this data was posted on BreachForums (by entity called “antisocial“), a notorious cybercrime forum known for distributing stolen data. The full database is now available for download to anyone with access to the forum, significantly increasing the risk of phishing attacks, identity theft, and harassment.

A Wake-Up Call for Sports Platforms
This breach underscores the growing threat cybercriminals pose to online communities beyond just e-commerce or financial services. Even sports and hobbyist platforms are now becoming targets for hackers looking to exploit user data.
KoraClub.net has yet to release an official statement or provide guidance for affected users, further compounding the concern among its community.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
